Merry Christmas & Happy New Year From the Slezinger's!

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from the Slezinger's! We hope you all had a wonderful time with your family & friends. We have now had our first Christmas in Kansas City, Missouri! It was such a treat to have snow on the ground for Christmas, something that we have never experienced before. We really missed our families, but staying in Kansas for the holidays turned out to be for the best as Mark & I both got sick a few days before Christmas. We were so disappointed to be too sick to really celebrate-we didn't even have a Christmas dinner! (We are thinking about re-scheduling Christmas dinner for New Year's eve!) :)

Nonetheless, Nathaniel seemed to enjoy his first Christmas. He was thrilled with the wrapping paper! It was so much fun to watch his fascination with the various sounds it made. (And he did like his presents too!) We can hardly believe that we will be celebrating his first birthday next month. The time has gone by so quickly!

Mark has just finished his 3 month program, Introduction to IHOP, which he loved. We are now deciding what God has next for us. There are two departments here at IHOP that have asked Mark to be a part of their ministries. We are deciding between those two. Both are very exciting, and we are so happy to be a part of what God is doing here. Mark is thoroughly enjoying spending hours every day in the Prayer Room. He easily spends 4-5 hour sessions praying and he loves it.

We are very excited for what God has in store for our family in this New Year. This year we will celebrate Nathaniel's 1st birthday, as well as our 5 year anniversary. Who knows what else God has in store!

We love all of you and wish you a very Happy New Year!
